Update. Menu for Hope raffle now closed. We raised over $60,000, thanks everyone!
Every year food bloggers around the world get together and produce the Menu for Hope raffle, hosted by Pim of Chez Pim. Fabulous prizes for the food lover are raffled off, and the proceeds go to charity. This year, like last, the beneficiary is the Lesotho school lunch program of the United Nations World Food Program.
Check out the prizes, and especially one in particular, the prize of Wild Game Charcuterie, prepared by my favorite hunter, our neighbor, and Simply Recipes guest author, Hank Shaw.

I have been the lucky recipient of several tastings of Hank's homemade wild game charcuterie, and I assure you every thing I've tried has been outstanding. This is nothing you can buy anywhere, and there are probably only a handful of people in the entire country who can do what Hank does, if that. Hank's prize included Canada goose "prosciutto", wild boar lonzino, wild duck salami, and fresh wild boar sausages. (Prize code UW36)
And that's just Hank's prize. There are many other wonderful prizes up for grabs. So, if you haven't done so already, head over to Pim's to review the prizes, and then buy your raffle tickets ($10 each) at First Giving. The raffle ends Midnight Dec 31, 2008. Prize winners will be announced Monday, January 12, 2009.

Chez Pim's "master list" hasn't been updated to show some prizes that were added in the second week, like ours (UW39). Come to our site to find out what our prize is all about!
