Looking for a gift for the tea-lover in you life? I recommend a package from Adagio Teas. A few months ago the kind folks from Adagio sent out tea samples to many food bloggers to review. I received both "kukicha" Japanese green tea and "rooibos" tea from Africa. Both were delicious. The kukicha tea was delicate, full leaf, just as I remember the highest quality teas from my time living in Japan. The rooibos (pronounced ROY-boss) tea is a red tea made from a South African shrub, has no caffeine, is low in tannins, and has lots of natural antioxidants. It has a mild spicy flavor and is a little sweet. It gets its red color from the fermentation process that the plant goes through to become tea.

Of all the gift ideas posted on their site, I recommend the one that comes with the ingenuiTEA teapot, a very cool way to make a cup or two of loose leaf tea. Check out the video on the page to see how it works. Adagio sent me one of these too, and we use it every day. It's clear, so you can see the degree to which the tea has seeped, and very easy to clean up. Good prices too. The gift set with the white teapot is only $15, and the one with the igenuiTEA teapot is only $19.

VERY nifty! I think this would be great for office workers--like myself!
