Laurenz lives in Vienna with his mom and dad. He loves to draw cartoon-like characters and make story books with them.

Laurenz and I met the summer of 1998 at the Traunsee Lake in Austria. We traded drawings of monsters, flowers, clowns, boats, and caricatures of each other.

Laurenz taught me that "berg" means mountain in German. "Ice" is the same word in both German and English. And "iceberg" means, you guessed it, ice mountain.

Laurenz also taught me that "grimace" means weird face in German.

So here we are practicing German.
